Commercial Property is in Stuart’s blood. Generations of his family were in the property development business and a very young Stuart was being taken around refurbs and building sites when most boys were being taken to the park. “I’ve always been fascinated by buildings and by age twelve I realized that I wanted to work with them in some way. So I founded Sapcote Developments on the back of an obsession - and a desire to do things better and differently. Even after all this time I still have a passion and an energy for this business – only now it’s directed away from re-development and toward building our exceptional commercial property portfolio.”
Andy Stranks BSc (Hons) ACA
Andy joined Sapcotes in 2005, swapping the glitz and glamour of the international property market for life just off the M6 in our Birmingham office. (He must have been seriously keen to join us!) In the eleven years he’s been with us he’s been true to his mantra “To always keep learning.” Andy’s experience is a huge asset as we seek to expand our commercial property portfolio, ensuring that we always have the finance readily available to move swiftly when a possible acquisition comes our way.
James Millar BSc MRICS
James joined us in 1999 following a highly successful career in Residential Development. Having been born in London, studied and always worked in London, James was seeking a ‘creative change’ in - you guessed it - London. We fitted the bill perfectly. James lists his greatest attributes is his open mind and his ‘get it done’ mentality. Two essential ingredients in our ability to recognise an opportunity to expand our portfolio and then move quickly to get the deal done.
Dylan Laing BSc (Hons)
Director of Marketing
Dylan came to us from Hamptons International in 2008. Like Pietersen and Trott, he’s another South African to join a successful English team. One thing he especially enjoys about his role at Sapcote's is not being answerable to a long line of decision makers. “I’m proud of what we do at Sapcote's, especially how as a family business we’re able to make quick decisions and then keep to our word.”
Management and Marketing Executive
Emma has plenty of experience in the London property market, most notably on developments at Butler’s Wharf and Conran’s Michelin House. But it was her creative background that attracted her to the Sapcote's way of doing things - plus the chance to play a part in building a commercial property portfolio in an area of London she’s loved all her life. In her spare time you can find Emma lindy-hopping, jiving or doing the Charleston at the vintage ‘swing dance’ club she helps run.
Head of Asset Management
Mark’s responsible for the day to day management of our rapidly-growing commercial property portfolio. He joined us in 2017 after a successful career in private practice as well as in high profile organisations including the British Airport Authority and the Arora Group, both based at Heathrow. Now several miles down the flightpath in our Chiswick offices, Mark is enjoying the advantages of working for a small family property company again, including a streamlined chain of command and quick decision making. And Mark’s no slacker himself – he’s completed nine marathons, enjoys walking his dog and exercising his daughter’s horses.
Linda De La Rue
Linda joined Sapcote's in 1999 when the Millennium bug seemed like a plausible threat. Nineteen years later Linda’s one of the most important people in the business, taking good care of our tenants and ensuring everything runs smoothly across all our property portfolio.
Property Management Executive
Ania came to London in 2001 from her native Poland. She joined Sapcote's in 2009 straight from a career in the hospitality sector, at prestigious venues including BAFTA, the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. Now we’re proud to include her in our very own 'Hall of Fame'…
